Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of each trade. Develop a working knowledge of routine repairs in each trade, i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam, and fume hood. Provides technical assistance to others by troubleshooting simple facilities maintenance issues and determining their cause. More complex issues are typically referred to a higher-level technician, skilled at operating essential tools and equipment of assigned trade(s).
Position may be required to repair leaks, check boiler level, assist with pipe installation, basic PM operations, and basic electrical/plumbing repair.

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
